About the Role:
Automotive Service Writer needed, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Salary will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries and vehicle maintenance.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and repair orders for customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain customer records and follow up on service recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure a clean and organized service area for customers and staff.
- Stay updated on automotive technology and service procedures.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering of parts as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a service writer or in a similar customer service role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using service writing software Mitchell1 and Auto Integrate.
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certifications are a plus.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
